(২) (অপারগতার জন্য দুঃখ প্রকাশে ব্যবহৃত হয়): ‘Can you lend me some money?’ ‘(I am) sorry, but I can’t’ দ্রষ্টব্য excuse 2 (৩), pardon (২).
