She did her hair carefully. do-gooder (noun) (ক) (কথ্য) (প্রায়ই ব্যঙ্গার্থে) এমন ব্যক্তি, যে সব সময় পরের ভালো করতে চায়। (৩) (past participle ও perfect tense) সমাপ্ত করা; সাঙ্গ করা: Its done; উপযোগী হওয়া: This pen won’t do for my purpose; যথেষ্ট হওয়া; Four shirts will do at present. How do you do? (সম্ভাষণ জানানোর ফর্মুলা বাক্য)। (৪) ভ্রমণে পথ অতিক্রম করা: We did 50 miles a day on our tour. (৫) দৃশ্য; বেড়ানো: Have you done the parks of the town? ৬ have to do with সম্পর্কযুক্ত হওয়া; জড়িত হওয়া। do away with বাতিল করা; পরিহার করা: You should do away with your bad habits; হত্যা করা: The king did away with all his enemies. do for somebody/something (কথ্য) চাকরি করা, বিশেষত গৃহস্থালিতে: He has been doing for us for 10 years. জীর্ণ হয়ে যাওয়া; ধ্বংস হওয়া: I am done for! be done in ক্লান্ত হওয়া: I was done in after the long day’s work. do something up মেরামত করা; নবায়ন করা: They have done the house up recently. do with somebody/something (ক) What did you do with my pen? (কোথায় রেখেছো?)(খ) সহ্য করা: He couldn’t do with his son’s disobedience.(গ) I feel as if I could do with a cup of tea, এক কাপ চা হলে ভালো হতো। do without somebody/something কোনো কিছু ছাড়াই চলা: I cann’t do without your service. We cann’t do without water even for a day.
